Casey Presents: Now My Helmet's On

After sharing the Gorillaz track "Superfast Jellyfish" on Google Reader wherein De La Soul raps about a fictional breakfast cereal whose jingle is sung in the chorus by Super Furry Animals front man Gruff Rhys, Andrew asked me to create for him a mixtape full of nerdy rap songs. These are all nerdy songs. Most of them have rapping, the rest have some tenuous hip-hop connection but could not stand to not be included.

Track Listing:
1) DJ Jazzy Jeff & The Fresh Prince - Human Video Game
2) MC Frontalot - You Got Asperger's
3) Q Tip - Gettin' Up (SPLASHWOMAN Mega Man 9 Remix)
4) Dr. Octagon - Earth People
5) Del Tha Funkee Homo Sapien - Proto Culture
6) King Geedorah - No Snakes Alive f. Jet-Jaguar & Rodan
7) Lupe Fiasco - Yoga Flame
8) Mr. Lif - Live From The Plantation
9) Wordburglar - The WB
10) Aziz - Golden
11) MC Paul Barman - Anarchist Bookstore, Pt 1
12) Baddd Spellah - Zaphod Beatleboxxx
13) ZhayTee - The Brain
14) MC Paul Barman - Anarchist Bookstore, Pt 2
15) Gitaroo Man (PlayStation 2) - Born To Be Bone
16) Starfinger - More Than Soup
17) Jet Set Radio (Dreamcast) - Grace & Glory
18) MC Frontalot - I Hate Your Blog
19) PaRappa The Rapper (PlayStation 1) - MC King Kong Mushi's Rap
